NEWS & ANNOUNCEMENTS
Paxton Community Input Meeting
The Board of Directors have been monitoring the proposed additions at the Paxton Campus adjacent to Catoctin Circle. After hosting an initial feedback meeting with homeowners and the Board, the Association has coordinated a meeting with the Paxton Trust leadership and project team members to solicit feedback on the design and it's potential impacts to surrounding homes.
The meeting is open to all homeowners and has been set for Monday, November 23, at 6 p.m., virtually.
October Meeting Summary The following select actions were taken at the latest meeting. Full minutes are available here.
The Association is working with the local law enforcement to step up monitoring of vehicle speeds, especially in town home areas. As always, parents should ensure children are not playing in roadways as it may not be safe.
Sections of chain link fencing surrounding the pond pathways were approved for removal.
Contracts were executed to begin the monument redesign to repair and improve the damage from the February tornado.
Greening Your Neighborhood Grants
The Audubon Naturalist Society, in accordance with the Piedmont Environmental Council, the Loudoun Wildlife Conservancy, and others are bring a free, grant-funded program to offer residents of Homeowners Associations improvements.
This is an opportunity for residents to learn to be community advocates for ecologically beneficial projects on common property – e.g. to complement and further enhance community landscaping, lawn maintenance, or to envision and implement watershed projects.
Monthly Minutes In accordance with emergency legislation allowing Homeowners Associations to suspend the need for in-person meetings during a state-of-emergency, and given the nature of the emergency that makes it impracticable and unsafe to assemble in a single location at this time, all Board meetings were held electronically and notification was provided by email. As such, the records and minutes of those meetings are available at the following link: https://www.exeterhoa.com/file-share/2819001f-3b03-4ec1-a965-2c573e529227
